How this ranking works
- We count the active studios listed on the PoleSquad Map. The map is open — anyone can suggest studios — so the ranking updates as the map grows.
- The per-capita ranking measures studios per 100,000 inhabitants — it shows where pole is biggest relative to the size of the city.
- To enter the per-capita ranking a city needs at least 5 studios and 200k inhabitants, so a small town with one studio can't top the list.
- Populations are approximate (city proper, source: GeoNames). Rankings measure studios listed on the map, so cities with better coverage rank higher — help us complete yours!
